Devoted fans of Ariana Grande are calling for that a person who breached a fence and touched the performer during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A viral clip reveals the Australian man bypassing camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the cast made its way down a yellow carpet flanked by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "free after being taken in", though court documents revealed that he was scheduled to be present on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

History of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile contains videos of him disturbing other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney performance in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last winter.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," stated an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over Grande's Safety

Several supporters accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote another response on Instagram.

Several fans also questioned guards at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals requested online networks to remove Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Event Details

In videos shared widely, Grande appeared shocked when she was approached by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.

Numerous of fans had gathered in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore shopping center, including a number who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on 21 November, is the second of a two-part version of the well-known theatrical show Wicked, which revolves around the surprising relationship between two contrasting characters.

The show itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a light pink glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who plays the Elphaba, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the top-earning movie of last year in the UK, and received a dozen Oscar nominations, securing a pair for outstanding attire and artistic direction.
